Crochet Large Barn Owl!

I know a few of you have been wanting my opened wing barn owl pattern, so on September 22 I will be putting it in my Etsy shop (see top right)!  I'm putting it on then because September 22 is the two year anniversary of my Soren the Barn Owl post!

As you can see, my second opened wing barn owl is a little different from my first one.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get his wings open and close.  I did make a wing with sixteen individual feathers, but it was WAY too complicated to put in the pattern.

This is a VERY complicated pattern, so if you need any help you can always contact me, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

I hope you like how he turned out!

  2. Just found your blog. Thank you so much for the free patterns. I love owls too and although I've only seen one in the wild once I do hear them from time to time (I think it was an eastern screech)

    1. The pattern use to be in my Etsy shop (the link is at the top of the page to the right); however, I took it off so that I can improve it. I can put it back on for you if you'd like, but I would still email you the improved pattern once it was complete.

      Thanks :)
