Well, here's an American Eagle plushie that turned out OK. Some people have told me it looks like a seagull, but I think it might look more like an eagle if you put the beak a little farther up on its head. I'm sorry that it's missing a toe and doesn't have claws, but I had to hurry and didn't have time for all the details.

Assembly:
Sew beak (with yarn or thread) onto the lump on the front of the face. Cut small piece of black fabric and place behind the eye. Place eye next to top of beak on face, then embroider the yellow yarn around eye. Embroider white yarn on top of eye to make it look more like an eagle. Sew blue and white wings together, and then sew them onto sides of body. Sew tail on back just above beg of leg.
Looks Great! Very patriotic! :)I can understand why you make the eagle those colors, but if you wanted to make him a little more realistic (and less like a seagull), Bald Eagles have brown feathers as well as white. :) Great pattern. Can't wait to try it out.
