Kirby


It's Kirby's 20th Anniversary!  So to celebrate, I decided to crochet him.  I made mine to look like the Kirby from Kirby's Epic Yarn .

Kirby

Materials:
G hook
Pink yarn
(Darker) pink yarn
Red yarn
Black yarn
White yarn


Body (using pink yarn)

1. ch 8 in ring-8
2. 2sc in each st around-16
3. (sc in next st, 2sc in next st) around-24
4-10. sc in each st around-24
11. (sc in next st, sc2tog) around-16
12. (sc2tog) around-8-F/O

Arms (using pink yarn, make 2)

1. ch 6 sc in ring-6
2. (sc in next st, 2sc in next st)around-9
3-4. sc in each st around-9-F/O

Feet (using red yarn, make 2)

1. ch 7 in ring-7
2. sc in each st around-7
3. sc in next 3st, 2sc in next st, sc in last 3st-8
4-5. sc in each st around-8
6. sc in first 3st, sk next st, sc in last 3st-7-F/O

Assembly:
Sew on Feet and Arms.  Embroidery Eyes, white in Eyes, mouth, and rosy cheeks.




Kirby belongs to his original creator, but the pattern belongs to me.

Little Teddy Bear


This is a little teddy bear I made for my friends birthday.  The original one was purple, but you can make it whatever color you want.

Little Teddy Bear

Materials:
G hook
Brown yarn
Black yarn
8mm black eyes

Head/Body (use brown yarn)

1. ch 8 in ring-8
2. 2sc in each st around-16
3-5. sc in each st around-16
6. (shape muzzle in this round) 2sc in next st, sc in next 2st, 2sc in next 2st, sc in next 2st, 2sc in next st, sc around-20
7. sc in next 3st, sk next st, sc in next 4st, sk next st, sc around-18
8. sc in first st, sk next st, sc in next 6st, sk next st, sc in next 4st, sk next st, sc in last 4st-15
9. (sc in next 2st, sk next st) twice, (sc in next 3st, sk next st) twice, sc in last st-11
10. sc in each st around-11
11. 2sc in first st, sc in next st, 2sc in next 2st, sc in next st, 2sc in next st, (sc in next 2st, 2sc in next st) twice-16
12-17. sc in each st around-16
18. (shape tail in this round) sc around to last st, ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook and down to beg of round-16
19. sc around to beg of ch, sk chs, sc in last st-16 (crochet tip of tail down in this round)

Arms (use brown yarn, make 2)

Legs (use brown yarn, make 2)

Ears (use brown yarn, make 2)

1. ch 7 in ring-7

Assembly:
Place 8mm eyes in front of face.  Embroidery nose and mouth.  Sew on ears, arms, and legs.

Gylfie the Elf Owl



Here's Soren the Barn Owl's little friend Gylfie!  Gylfie is actually smaller than this compared to Soren, but I didn't want to make her too small.  Embroidering her face can be a little tricky, but overall, she is easy to make.

Materials:
F hook
Redish-brown yarn
Cream yarn
Light yellow yarn
Light grey
Yellow felt
8mm black eyes
Yarn needle

Head/Body (use redish-brown yarn)

1. ch 6 in ring-6
2. 2sc in each st around-12
3. (sc in next st, 2sc in next st) around-18
4. (sc in next 2st, 2sc in next st) around-24
5-11. sc in each st around-24
12. BLO-sc in next 4st, 2sc in next st,Both Loops- sc in next 16st,BLO-2sc in next st, sc in last 2st-26

4. (change to peach) BLO- slst in next st, ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and down, (slst in same st, ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and down) twice, sc in next st, sk 1, slst in next st, ch 4, sc in 2nd ch from hook and down, slst in same st, sc in last st F/O

Assembly:
Cut out an oval piece of yellow fabric and stick behind black 8mm eyes. Place eyes in front of face, 4st apart.  Embroidery beak in middle of face below eyes.  Embroidery cream lines around eyes with ch st.  Using ch st, embroidery redish brown lines on chest.  Slst cream and redish-brown Wings tog.  Sew wings on the top/side of Back .  Sew Back onto Body.  Sew Feet on bottom of Body.
