I may have finished making the band, but I'm not done yet! Here is Boron, King of the Ga'hoole tree. He is one of the easiest owls I have made so far, but I really like how he turned out.
You can also use this pattern to make Queen Baran. (she has more black spots)

Assembly:
Place yellow felt around eyes and black felt behind that. Put eyes in front of face. Embroidery eye brows with white yarn. Embroidery black beak. Slst pair of wings tog. Embroidery black spots in wings and body. Sew wings on sides of body and legs on bottom.
